Clinical Mentorship & Case Consultation
For clinicians working with infants with feeding challenges
Complex infant cases don't always respond the way we expect.
While some babies fit the textbook and respond accordingly, experienced and curious clinicians know that many infants don't fit neatly into one diagnosis or one treatment approach. Sometimes another thoughtful clinician can help illuminate patterns that are difficult to see when you're in the middle of a complex case.
My approach integrates lactation, craniosacral therapy, myofascial treatment, biomechanics, and nervous system regulation to better understand the complexity of infant feeding challenges. I have a particular interest in cases where multiple factors are interacting and the clinical picture isn't immediately clear.
My role is to help organize the information, ask thoughtful questions, and support your own clinical reasoning as you determine the best path forward for your client.
These one-on-one sessions provide a collaborative space for clinical reasoning, professional growth, and case reflection—not judgment or definitive answers.
This mentorship may be helpful if you are asking:
What might I be missing?
How do I determine what is related to an oral tether and what represents a separate clinical layer?
How would I prioritize assessment and treatment?
Why isn't this baby responding as expected?
How do feeding, movement, and nervous system regulation fit together?
How can I integrate bodywork principles into my clinical reasoning?
What to expect
Before our meeting, you'll complete a brief intake form and may submit relevant history, photographs, or videos if applicable. Please do not submit identifiable information unless you have written permission from your client to do so.
Together we'll review your case, explore patterns that may not yet be apparent, consider differential possibilities, and identify practical considerations and possible next steps.
Following the session, you'll receive a summary of our discussion, including key themes, considerations, and suggested areas for further exploration.
Who this is for
These mentorship sessions are intended for licensed healthcare professionals working with infants, including IBCLCs, massage therapists, craniosacral therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other clinicians with an interest in infant feeding and whole-body assessment.
